Rogie Falls can be found about 15 minutes drive from Dingwall on the A835 (SatNav IV14 9EQ and look for the signs). There is a carpark and the toilets are open in summer months. There is a good walk around the area, but wear good walking shoes as the trail can be quite steep.
The falls are set in the Torrachilty Forest and created by the Black Water River. During heavy rains or when snow is melting on the slopes of Ben Wyvis the falls become even more sensational. If you visit during August and September you have a chance on seeing wild salmon leaping their way upstream to the ancestral spawning grounds. To assist the fish a salmon ladder has been built alongside the waterfall.
